In 2008, after spending the first 24 years of his life in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Tony headed south to the Tampa area for warmer weather and an opportunity to pursue a career in education and fitness. It is during this time that he met his beautiful wife Cameo, whom he married in September of 2014. 

Always looking for an opportunity to create a new business that could bring lasting memories to those who took part, it was a couples trip to Nashville, TN that inspired Tony and co-owner/best friend Jeff to create Kraken CycleBoats. 

Now that he has the opportunity, Tony could not be more excited to introduce the CycleBoat experience to the greater Tampa area.

Jeff Rhoades

Co-Owner

Jeff moved to Tampa Florida in 2011 from Madison Wisconsin but was born and raised in Indiana. Although Jeff is a Hoosier at heart, the warm weather and access to Tampa's waterways has made this area his new home where he, his wife Alyssa and their expecting daughter look forward to spending a fulfilled life together. 

While Jeff has spent 20 successful years in Financial Services, he has always had a passion for being involved in his community and bringing enjoyment to everyone he meets. He is extremely excited to offer this incredible CycleBoat experience along side Co-owner Tony Mendina.
